With hints of spring in the air at Scoop HQ and new teammates coming on board, the timing was right to take a fresh look at how we communicate with customers, and today we’re happy to announce the launch of our redesigned website. We invite you to take a few minutes to visit and look around yourself. In the meantime here’s a quick look at what’s changed, and how the new site reflects the evolution of our software and the value we deliver to our customers every day.
Simplicity of Navigation
People love using Scoop because of the simplicity it brings to complex field operations—breaking big chunks of work down into bite-sized, manageable pieces and making it easy to find what you need to do the job in front of you. We wanted the site to reflect that experience, and to be an extension of the clarity and elegance that we aspire to bring to our customers in our solution.
To deliver on this, we overhauled the the visual look and feel of the site while consolidating and reorganizing content so it is much easier to find. Our three main areas of impact—simplifying field data collection, simplifying team communications and task tracking, and simplifying site report generation—are front and center on the homepage, while more detail on specific features, use cases and pricing are just a click away.
New Integration Options
Smart solar companies have realized that all-in-one software solutions tend to come up short in functionality, and are instead embracing a best-in-class approach in which they combine multiple tailored solutions that solve specific business problems. While this is highly effective, it also means you need software that is designed to work in concert with your other solutions.
Recognizing this, Scoop has been working to enable powerful and hassle-free integrations to connect with the software your business uses every day, including CRM tools like Salesforce and PipeDrive, collaboration tools like Asana and Podio, and cloud storage systems like Dropbox and OneDrive. We’ll be talking more about this in the weeks to come, but wanted to make these options easy to find on the new site. Between these robust connectors and Scoop’s open API, you’re well positioned to connect your business tools together for maximum effectiveness.
Highlighting Automation & Assistance
Data analysis and machine learning are poised to transform every industry in the coming decade, and the impact on companies with extensive field operations will be profound. As our customers collect more and more data with Scoop, we’re increasingly able to provide value around that data that goes beyond simply organizing it and storing it. Think of the software as playing an active advisory role—detecting patterns in the live data you’re collecting and alerting you to potential issues on a job in real-time so your teams can investigate and respond to things while they’re in the field.
Later this year we’ll be announcing some revolutionary new services in our platform that will take field operations efficiency to the next level, but there’s already a great deal of automation and assistance in the platform for you to use today. In revamping the website, we wanted these services to be clearly explained, so that the connections between the technology and the benefits it brings to your solar company are straightforward.
We hope you’ll take a few minutes to look at what’s new on the site, and let us know what you think. As always, our team is here to connect with you, and if you have a question about how Scoop could fit with your company’s needs then drop us a line.
